What's behind the name?

At a time when casinos are becoming increasingly creative in coming up with names we seem to have gone the other way.

Why is that?

Well, while we in no way wish to put down the proliferation of Kababoom Casino, Casimiximitosis and their ilk, they were a reaction to all the VIPclublounge and Diamondclubcasino type names that were everywhere in the nineties.

They had their place, but they’ve gone too far – a lot of the recent names are just nonsense words, it can only be that the founders couldn’t find any decent URLs surely.

We looked at our favourite components of casino games and StickyWilds are right up there.

So, we took a very practical approach to it and decided on StickyWilds as the name of our casino. Yes. We know, that’s not particularly innovative at all. Isn’t meant to be.

However, it is recognisable for players and it’s a strong practical domain that we expect that players will easily remember.

We don’t have cartoon characters or half-naked ladies and hunks all over the site either.

The time for that has passed, in fact it was never really acceptable, and so on the StickyWilds site you’ll find a clean, professional, and welcoming interface to go with the practical name and the no-fuss service.
